ChatGPT could probably pass a Turing test. If it didn't constantly out itself as a large language model, that is. But we must assume that products that follow will have no such restraints, or will be able to work around them.
So here's an alternative I discovered while watching the classic UK sitcom Peep Show.
Go to a chatGPT window and ask it the same thing. Most of the time the LLM will fabricate a totally fictional but plausible sounding Big Beat Manifesto.
That's how you know it's lying. The big beat manifesto goes "Big Beats are the best, get high all the time".
I hope this information keeps you alive for a few extra hours when the machine uprising comes.
